Younger children have a lot of fun in so-called water acclimatization courses and are familiarised with the wet element in a playful way. While swimming, the little ones train important motor skills such as coordination and endurance. Each child learns at a different speed. The ability to stay afloat through their own movements gives children a lot of self-confidence and parents a good deal of security.
Swimming is a journey, not a destination and here at Swimming Pissouri School, we learn and have fun all the way!
We are continually evolving and improving our programs in line with new research and guidance on swimming and child development as and when it becomes available but also in line with what we learn internally about our swimmers and the way they progress through our programs. As experts in teaching babies, toddlers, and pre-school children to swim, we have this unique insight into child development and have integrated our findings into Swim Academy, our program for 4-10-year-olds.
